This Lynx snowmobile skid has seen some serious riding, the rear track roller axle has worn its way into the side rails.

Unfortunately there’s not enough room in the axle to add shims so the only option was the pad weld the slots and mill them down. It’s a good thing I scooped up some more Blue Demon®️ Welding Products welding goodies.

⚡️Rally Car Build Final Edition⚡️

To wrap up these particular cages the front and rear harness bars are bent and installed last. In a traditional cage this generally isn’t the case as the only harness bar is integrated with the main hoop X-bracing and needs to be welded during the drop phase.
