Another porch transformation complete by Fisher Construction & Excavation.

We removed the entire existing porch system—including the old decking, posts, and railings—and rebuilt it with all new pressure-treated decking, posts, and black aluminum balusters for a timeless look. To finish it off, we wrapped and trimmed everything in white for a clean finish that complements the home perfectly.

We regraded the driveway, put down fresh stone, and installed a new grate drain in front of the garage to help properly direct water and improve drainage.

From start to finish, this basement transformation completely changed the home.

✅ Demolished the existing basement
✅ Framed all new walls
✅ Constructed a new exterior addition and poured the concrete foundation
✅ Added 2 bedrooms
✅ Built a master bathroom featuring a walk-in tile shower and heated floors
✅ Installed a full kitchen
✅ Added a second full bathroom
✅ Created a dedicated office space and living area
✅ Cut French doors into the existing block wall
✅ Added a new side entrance

(This is not a finished project just yet. There are many things still being worked on)

Thus far, this has turned an unfinished space into a beautiful, functional living area with everything needed for comfortable everyday living.

Position Details

• Full-time, year-round work
• Competitive pay based on experience
• Work includes: Remodels, framing, decks, concrete, site prep, digging/grade work, general labor
• Monday–Friday schedule (occasional Saturday work if needed)
• Opportunity to grow into higher-paying roles

Requirements

✓ Reliable transportation
✓ Strong work ethic
✓ Able to lift 50+ lbs
✓ Respectful, honest, and able to follow directions
✓ Experience is required

Job Location

Based in Amherst/Lynchburg, VA and surrounding areas. Most work is between Amherst and Goode.
