Many of the part designs we receive are unfortunately not optimized for the injection molding process.

They look fine in CAD. Then a toolmaker looks at them and finds no draft, walls that vary all over the place, and a gate location that puts a weld line in the worst possible spot.

So, our engineers put together a free guide covering what we check on every design that comes through the door. Wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, gating, tolerances that make sense. It's the same checklist our own Design Studio uses.

There are certainly times when a manufacturer, for whatever reason, is unable to continue production or supply the final molded parts, and a customer is left empty-handed.
