This week, we hosted a Fall Protection Stand-Down in partnership with DeWalt, reinforcing the importance of training and awareness when working with fall protection and tie-off materials.

Work continues to progress on the Holy Family University Welcome Center project.

Currently, our team is rerouting power and communication conduits around the perimeter of the project site. This work is essential to ensure that existing campus buildings and systems remain fully operational throughout construction while allowing the project to move forward safely.

We were pleased to serve as a sponsor of the Annual Dragon Exemplar Awards Banquet hosted by the Drexel University Construction Management program, an evening that celebrates construction excellence, innovation, and education while inspiring the next generation of industry leaders.

This year’s event honored Anthony Naccarato, a respected industry leader whose career and contributions to the construction industry have helped shape the built environment and set a standard of leadership for others in the profession.

It was also great to have a few of our own Dragons in attendance, Erica Jean Miller and Ryan Kirby, supporting their alma mater and celebrating the accomplishments of fellow members of the Drexel construction community.

Progress continues at Home2 Suites Hazleton as the project advances toward the finish line.

This hotel, developed for Springwood Hospitality, reflects The Norwood Company’s continued focus on the hospitality sector and the sustained growth underway in the Greater Hazleton area. Projects like this underscore the confidence being placed in the region and its expanding market.

We remain on track for completion in early May and look forward to delivering a high-quality addition to Hazleton’s hospitality landscape.
