Here are some interior pictures for the two houses on Russ and Deering Street. The walls and ceilings are painted and we're ready for cabinets, flooring, and interior trim. The houses are coming together beautifully, stay tuned for more interior pictures! Updates coming soon🤘🏼

These two houses on Russ Street are almost completely finished on the exterior! You can see the color schemes and the stained tongue and groove porch ceilings that we like to create accents with. Spring is the perfect time to finish houses because the surrounding colors of the foliage are starting to pop and the birds are constantly singing. We appreciate the whimsical side of life here at RBW Construction 🤘🏼😂 (Stay tuned for interior pictures coming this weekend👀)

The guts of the house, so to speak🤘🏼😁. The pictures here show the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC second rough ins. Also pictured towards the end of the post is the spray foam insulation. Everything is prepped for drywall at this point and things are about to start changing visually at a very fast pace inside! Drywall and painting pictures coming soon!

We have the roofs on both houses completely finished, and the windows and doors have been installed so the siding is going up quickly! With our crew, siding installation, paint prep, and painting can all happen simultaneously depending on our schedule, both to suit the weather and to let fingers heal from caulking. Stay tuned for pictures of interior progress!

We've started a new job in Blountstown, and the weather was perfect to lay out the foundation.

We have the walls and the two roofs dried in on these houses in Marianna! We've started on the roofing and siding while the subs have started on their second rough-ins. It's really exciting to see the houses take shape, and the next month is going to move really fast so stay tuned for more pictures👀🏘️🏘️🏘️

We finished out the year timber framing and framing on the two houses in Marianna. Getting to work with a wide variety of tools and I'm the cooler weather keeps things enjoyable and makes the time go by quickly. It's good to see our family and crew working together and laughing in the shop and by the heater in the cold mornings. Framing brings people and houses together💪🏼

This antique doorbell is a very good representation of this whole house in Blue Springs Plantation. It's unique, complex, and beautiful. The trim in this house took a lot of work to finish but we managed to get it done in time for a C.O. the day before Thanksgiving! We have a few days left to finish odds and ends but we're almost completely done with this project. Stay tuned for more pictures of the finished home👀👀👀. We have really enjoyed working on this house and getting to showcase our trim carpentry even a little more than usual💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

A glimpse into our conventional roof framing process. This process, called stick-framing by some people, is building a roof without the use of trusses. You set the ceiling joists, cut the rafters, and then start setting the ridge pole. It can be a harrowing process depending on the size and pitch of the roof or the complexity of the house, but on this gable roof, it's pretty straightforward. This is how most roofs were framed in the past, and at RBW we enjoy dabbling in the whole range of carpentry and various techniques of building💪🏼💪🏼.

This house in Blue Springs Plantation is almost finished! We have the exterior painting finished and the interior trim is in progress and looking fabulous! The trim has a high level of detail and we have really enjoyed working on it💪🏼🙏🏼. The plumbers have done their final work, and so have the electricians and HVAC crews. The cabinets are in progress and the custom buildings add a lot of function and beauty. The painters are working alongside us as we work on trimming out the inside. Follow along as we finish this house up over the next month!

This past week we framed the walls of the second house on this property in Marianna, and at the end of the week we braced the walls of both houses. The porch beams and two interior beams were picked up as well. We use coil nails to frame with and each coil has approximately 100 nails in it. Each rubber band once held a coil so feel free to try to get a count on the number of nails used to frame the walls of one house👀💪🏼💪🏼
