Meet the exhaust plenum — the part of a generator system most people often overlook.

If you've never heard of an exhaust plenum, you're not alone — it's one of the least talked-about parts of a generator system, and one of the most important. Its job is to direct radiator air and engine exhaust air up and away from the equipment, safely and efficiently.

Ours are engineered to reach heights of roughly 90 feet and to hold up under wind conditions rated as high as 150 mph, depending on the project.

Behind every backup power system is a switchboard built to keep pace with it.

Generators get most of the attention in a backup power system — but the switchboard is doing just as much work. It's the piece that takes generator output and routes it where it needs to go, safely and in the right amounts.

Our subsidiaries Technibus and Plant Power & Control Systems specialize in low-voltage switchboards that are UL 891 listed and built to handle systems up to 6,000 Amperes.
