CAP was proud to give the , Mayor Omar Ochoa a plant tour, show him one of his city's covers made by CAP including the mold insert that we use to form the composite into their graphic on the cover surface. CAP employs many Edinburg residents, recruits from UTRGV in Edinburg, has Edinburg investors, and buys from Edinburg businesses. Plus, Edinburg has been a customer for at least 5 years. We are always grateful for the local support! Recently, CAP worked with UTRGV - The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley marketing students under their Professor Eloy Garza to plan CAP's entrance into a new market. CAP is excited to announce our new VP of Operations, Andrew Brown. One of the 3 CAP cofounders, Andrew has agreed to manage the plant fulltime because of our growth and more complex manufacturing needs. With degrees in Mft. Management, Accounting, and a CPA, he ran a manufacturing business for 30 years. He will be transitioning 100% to CAP this month setting up an additional, new, CAP operation/affiliate as well as bringing improvements to our current facility - such as ISO9000 expected by October. CAP uses a ribbed design on the underside that eliminates the dimensional distortion caused by resin shrinkage during molding. A warped cover wobbles in its frame. A wobbling cover is a pop-out waiting to happen.
