🎮 PS5 HDMI port replacement — done right.

When the HDMI port goes out, swapping the port alone isn’t the whole job. There’s a filter capacitor next to it that takes damage from the same impact or heat, and if you leave the old one in, the console can come right back with no signal or a flickering picture.

So we replace both. Every time. It’s a few extra minutes and a cheap part — skipping it is how a repair ends up back on the bench.

This is what a "dead HDMI port" repair actually looks like under the microscope. 🔬
Xbox came in with no video output — turned out to be broken HDMI traces on the board. We rebuilt each one by hand, wire by wire.

Most shops will tell you this can't be fixed. We do it in-house, right here in McAllen.
