💫 We’re proud to celebrate Bryan Baker’s 15 years of dedicated service with NWUAV, currently as our Supply Chain Operations Manager – Part Deux!
Yes, it is factual that “he buys things,” but we all know that Bryan is a true cornerstone of our Supply Chain team. Without purchasing, we would have nothing to build! Speaking of building, Bryan does a knockout job of building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and employees alike. He is employee #1 when it comes to having what it takes to “get the right stuff.” His sharp attention to detail and consistency are necessary to deliver exactly what people need, when they need it. Rock solid during audits (he just nailed another one!), Bryan is reliable, responsible, and always ready to help.
When I asked you guys to chime in about Bryan, you told me that he has a wealth of information on nearly every topic under the sun and maintains an incredible memory. Well-known for his straightforward honesty (he doesn’t sugarcoat things), Bryan also has a big heart, genuine kindness, and strong loyalty. He’s quick with colorful stories, bits of wisdom from his years at NWUAV, and the occasional lunch rescue when someone forgets theirs. His positive presence and willingness to support the team make him a pleasure to work with, most of the time.
Outside of work, Bryan is an amazing husband and a doting dog dad to Andy and Ronan. He is also an incredible chef (we need a BBQ this summer!) and an avid disc golfer who never fails to shout “good morning Sorenson’s” as he passes our house through Wortman Park, disc bag in hand, even though I am typically still asleep and miss his greetings on those earlyish weekend mornings.
Thank you, Baker, for your dedication, your expertise, your honesty, and the positive impact you have on the team every single day. I forgive you for leaving Golden Valley Brewery—my kids got too big to carry around anyway 😉. Fifteen years—can you believe it?!?! Here’s to many more!
