Not every day you see a project like this come through the shop.

Our team is currently Wire EDM cutting a massive molybdenum workpiece measuring 15" thick × 37.75" diameter and weighing approximately 6,300 lbs.

Using the precision capabilities of our Wire EDM department, we’re cutting 7 slugs from this material while maintaining the tolerances and accuracy required for a project of this scale.

Projects like this highlight the versatility of our equipment, the skill of our team, and our ability to take on complex manufacturing challenges across a wide range of materials and industries.
