May is Month, and we’re highlighting some of our favorite historic building projects.⁠

Union Station in South Bend, Indiana - originally a train station that opened in 1929 - once served the New York Central Railroad and the Grand Trunk Western Railroad. Today, this historic landmark has been thoughtfully retrofitted into a state-of-the-art technology hub, now home to a data center and professional office space. Frost contributed structural design expertise as part of the building’s adaptive reuse.

May is Month, and we’re highlighting some of our favorite historic building projects.⁠

Frost provided structural engineering services for renovations to Lyons Hall, a historic women’s residence hall at the University of Notre Dame. Built between 1925 and 1927 in the Collegiate Gothic style, Lyons Hall is a defining feature of South Quad, known for its iconic arch framing St. Mary’s Lake.

May is Month, and we’re highlighting some of our favorite historic building projects.⁠

In collaboration with Arkos Design, Frost led the structural retrofit and expansion of the historic Baugo Township High School Gymnasium in Jamestown (Jimtown), Indiana. Originally constructed in 1929 and recognized as an Indiana Landmark, the gymnasium has been reimagined as a modern community hub - now the Craig & Teneen Dobbs Community Center.

May is Month, and we’re highlighting some of our favorite historic building projects.

1102 Grand, also known as the Bryant Building, is a 26‑story, 157,000‑square‑foot landmark in downtown Kansas City. Originally constructed in 1931 by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White as an office building, it has undergone major transformations over the years.

The Frost team provided structural engineering services for recent renovations and infrastructure upgrades, helping convert this historic structure into a modern, state‑of‑the‑art data center.
