First no cooling call of the year! Was due to a lack of maintenance, which is why maintenance is so important!!

Recent furnace replacement in St. Charles. The customer was very pleased!! Increased her furnace efficiency from 60% to 80%. Thats 20% less money being wasted on gas!! Some models go as high as 98% efficient!!

We also added an interior heel on the return. This allows for a lower duct static which translates to a better and longer running system while running more quietly! Little things like this is what sets us apart from our competition!!

This was a interesting install with the snow but we got it done! Well, mostly done. On hard winter days like this, we have to focus on getting the heat running properly for our customers so that we can get to the next person without heat. It has to be above 60 degrees outside to properly calibrate a new A/C install so we have to return anyways and can complete the last few things that will help make this install shine!

This is a high efficiency, variable speed 2 stage furnace. The customer loves it and says it is much quieter and heats the home very well in this crazy weather! Variable speed 2 stage furnaces help maintain a more consistent temperature across the home and are extremely quiet!

Pictures are from a recent prevenitive maintenance call. Just 1/32" of accumulation on a blower wheel can decrease airflow 30%. Google AI says up to 50%! Either way, that's lot less air flow which makes your furnace run much harder and hotter.

This can cause cracks in your heat exchanger that cause's it to leak carbon monoxide, decreased efficiency, cause parts to fail, decrease your indoor air quality and more!

Its time to setup prevenitive maintenance and make sure that your system is running as efficiently as possible and will be reliable throughout the season! Pulling out and cleaning the blower motor/wheel is a long process and is an extra charge if it needs to be done.

Our prevenitive maintenance includes-
*Test the capacitors
*Inspect the blower wheel, check motor bearings
*Clean combustion and blower compartments
*Check voltage/amp draw
*Temp rise and static pressure test
*Inspect and test the ignitor
*Clean and test the flame sensor

It's the time of the year for maintenance! Proper maintenance ensures that your system is running safely, efficiently and helps to avoid more costly repairs.

Included with maintenance-

*Inspect the blower wheel, check motor bearings
*Clean combustion and blower compartments
*Check voltage/amp draw
*Temp rise and static pressure test
*Inspect and test the ignitor
*Clean and test the flame sensor

*Ensure that the system is operating safely and properly

We also offer combustion analysis test. This allows me to see how efficiently that the unit is operating. From there I can finely tune the gas pressure to achieve the highest possible efficiency for the unit. It also can help us tell if the heat exchanger has a crack and leaks carbon monoxide. This is a extra charge and is not included with standard maintenance

Had the pleasure of removing this old steam boiler. They may be heavy but, steam heat and boilers in general are hard to beat. They provide excellent heat and last much longer than forced air furnaces.
