Sometimes the best kitchens aren't the loudest ones.

Natural maple cabinets, matte black hardware, soft gray
subway tile, and quartz counters that catch the light just
right. This kitchen feels warm without trying too hard —
the kind of space you want to be in, not just look at.

Every detail is intentional: the hardware that grounds the
warm wood tones, the backsplash that adds texture without
shouting, the under-cabinet lighting that makes prep work
actually pleasant.

Custom-built between the kitchen and living room of an
older home, the Dutch-style door keeps pets and little
ones contained without closing off the sightline. And the paneling matches the home's
existing character.

It's the kind of small custom detail that turns a house
into a home.

Two upgrades, one home, one mission: making this Moscow
house safer and more livable. ✨

The basement bedrooms are now bright, code-compliant spaces
with proper egress windows — meaning real safety in an
emergency and real value when it comes time to sell. Out
front, a brand-new deck landing flows right off the new
French doors, opening the dining room to the yard for the
first time.

Big projects done in phases. Honest communication every
step. That's how we like to work.

Same kitchen. Different decade.

Cream cabinets, cobalt blue tile counters, and a white
top-freezer fridge that had clearly earned its retirement.

We brought this Pullman kitchen into 2026 with natural
maple cabinets, soft gray subway tile, white quartz
counters, and matte black hardware — all while keeping
the warmth that made the original feel like home.

Some kitchens just need an update. Some need a whole
new identity. This one got both.

Spring tip: Replacing siding won't fix it.

We're seeing a lot of failed siding right now in Moscow
and Pullman homes — and most of the time, the siding
itself isn't the issue. It's a downstream symptom of a
water management failure somewhere above it.

Common culprits:

— Missing or improperly installed flashing
— Clogged, undersized, or poorly pitched gutters
— Downspouts that dump at the foundation
— Soil grading that slopes toward the house

Replacing siding without fixing the cause is expensive
and temporary. Within a few years, the new siding fails
in the same spot — and you're paying for it twice.

If you've got localized siding damage, the smart move is
diagnosing the water source first — then doing siding,
flashing, and gutter work together so the fix actually
holds.

This Pullman home is getting a full bathroom remodel
upstairs AND a brand new half bath added downstairs.
We're rerouting plumbing supply and waste, modifying
HVAC ducting, and relocating an AC line set to make
room for a smarter layout.

Wait until you see the design coming — herringbone
wall tile, charcoal hex floors, and a teal accent wall
that's going to make this space feel like nothing else
in the house.

But first: framing.
