Today marks one year since the passing of Luke♥️ Thankful and blessed for all the great memories! We continue to carry his memory with us. Miss you, Bud!
With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking loss of our employee, friend and brother Luke Kostreva💔 He was a true blessing to this company and our lives. He was like a son and a brother to us all. He was our family. His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Luke joined Karki Drywall, Inc. on June 27th, 2022 as a carpenter steel stud framing apprentice he quickly became a rising star. From apprentice to team leader, and then to foreman he earned his place as a cornerstone of our company! In his first week Luke showed his commitment to his craft as he packed out his truck and tool box with new tools and other equipment far beyond expectations. Luke’s growth within the company was a testament to his talents, effort, attitude and commitment.
Luke’s potential was limitless and his work was always impeccable! Whether framing steel studs, hanging drywall or working on acoustic ceilings, he was a true craftsman. His attention to detail, dedication, and skill made him not only a standout member of the crew but also someone who was loved and respected by his teammates. When we would ask our other skilled veterans who they wanted as a partner Luke was almost always first on the list. Luke was always on time and organized. He always had a positive attitude and a beautiful smile no matter what task was at hand. He was always willing to go the extra mile and approached every task with professionalism and care.
You could always count on Luke. But beyond his work and characteristics on the job site, Luke was a loyal friend to our team and a source of joy to everyone he met. Luke was more than just an employee, work partner, or leader to us. He was our family.
A great young man like Luke just doesn’t happen without an amazing family. We know how much Luke was loved and adored by them.
Our deepest condolences go to our dear friends EJ and Christy Kostreva, his brothers Ethan and Eric, girlfriend Jadin, extended family, friends and all of his loved ones.
Luke, you’ve left an incredible mark on us all, our hearts hurt and are heavy. Your spirit, friendship and legacy will live on in this company. May you rest in peace, we will forever remember you for the incredible person you are and the irreplaceable role you played in our lives💔 We are blessed and thankful for all the great memories.
We know Luke knew Jesus and take comfort he’s taken Gods hand in heaven.
With our deepest love and sympathy,
The crew at Karki Drywall
