BioBase Aquatic Resource Mapping and Monitoring System BioBase is the premier cloud solution for the automated processing, mapping and storing of spatial aquatic data.

Through our sophisticated cloud architecture, intimate knowledge of LowranceTM and SimradTM consumer sonar, satellite imagery processing, and our ability to rapidly process big data, we are the industry leader in processing technology for the aquatic resource professional. We take sonar logs from echosounders, data from satellite images, and create emergent vegetation and coastal habitat maps, removing the labor intensive and high cost elements from the process. This allows you to acquire high quality data very quickly and focus your energies on aquatic resource management. Part of Navico, and operated under the C-MAP brand, we are located in Minneapolis, and have a dedicated and talented product team who build and maintain the BioBase platform along with its sister consumer mapping product C-MAP Genesis. We are proud to be a central part of Navico's Sustainability Mission that is helping institutions and citizens further the goals of aquatic conservation across the globe.

The BioBase team is in Columbus, Ohio, for the American Fisheries Society 156th Annual Meeting, and we’re excited for a week of fisheries science, technology, habitat, and collaboration. Drop in for Ray's talk at 4PM to 4:15PM Monday.

This year’s theme, “The Heart of Sustainability: Habitat as the Foundation of Productive Fisheries”, is especially relevant to the work we do helping fisheries and aquatic-resource professionals better understand what’s happening below the surface.

If you’re at AFS this week, connect with the BioBase team. We’d love to hear about the waters you’re working on and show you what’s possible with BioBase.

BioBase is getting ready to join fisheries professionals from across the industry in Columbus for the American Fisheries Society 156th Annual Meeting, August 30–September 3.

Aquatic habitat is at the heart of productive fisheries, and having the right data is critical to understanding that habitat. We’re excited to connect with scientists and managers and share how BioBase makes it easier to collect, process, map, and understand aquatic data.

BioBase is speaking from 4:00pm to 4:15pm in the “Advancing Recovery at Scale: Habitat Restoration and Augmentation Drive Sustainable Fisheries” symposium.
