Insurance project is underway! Another productive week in the sun!

More rot repair and some floor leveling in Narragansett and more demo at the insurance job, can’t wait to the see the final transformations on both of these houses!

Another sunny week! We came back to a project we completed 4 years ago to replace some top rails and loved to see the deck still looking amazing. At the remodel we poured some concrete and did some more rot replacement, we are taking a break from this project for a little bit while we regroup with the homeowners about what to do next. Old houses have a lot of surprises and sometimes unplanned expenses. After months of waiting we finally received the okay from the insurance company to begin our new project in south Kingstown, we started the demo and in addition to putting the house back together after the mold and water damage we will be adding on above the garage.

The remodel project is moving along and might have a few more changes coming up!

More rot replacement at the remodel, but it should be all replaced soon and we can finish putting this house back together! We also went back to the front door project to install a new Andersen Windows + Doors storm door!

Another summer week is complete and now it’s time to enjoy the Blessing of the fleet!

Sometimes a successful week doesn’t look like a whole lot got done but replacing rot is the norm when it comes to older homes. The new dormers are looking beautiful and the new Therma-Tru Doors really upgrades the look of the house!

From rain to sunshine it was still a productive week! We installed an owner supplied slider and spent the rest of the week back at the remodel! Reframing for the rotted wood and the new size window in the downstairs bathroom and the duct work for the new upstairs HVAC system.

It’s been a hot one this week! But we were still able to take out the front door and reframe some rotted areas are the remodel and in North Kingstown the deck is finally done, all one color, and ready to be enjoyed for the holiday weekend!

Another busy week in the warm weather! The remodel has a new roof and was spray foamed. Out in Richmond the Drew Stamp New England Territory Manager was installed for a beautiful three seasons room, and as always arnoldlumber came through with brand new TimberTech decking in the beautiful English Walnut.

Another week in the books, and big progress passing the framing inspection on the remodel and finishing up the shower project. Unfortunately our deck project wasn’t completed this week but Workingwith Matt and Mike Malkin have been talking about your mistakes so I wanted to be transparent about why this project was taking longer than expected and more importantly why it matters who you choose to work with and get your products from.
