This month, we're celebrating Brent Edwards' 25th anniversary with T.W. Frierson!

Brent joined the team in 2001 as a Project Manager and has grown into his current role as Vice President of Business Development. Along the way, he's managed many complex industrial projects and has launched several strategic initiatives to grow our business. Brent has become a trusted resource thanks to his deep knowledge of both the technical and personal aspects of construction.

The T.W. Frierson NextGen group recently got together for an afternoon of bowling. It was a chance to step away from the day-to-day, get to know each other better, and spend time together outside the office and off the job site.

NextGen was created to help make T.W. Frierson the best place to work for the next generation of leaders by creating opportunities to learn, connect, grow, and build relationships across the company.

Big projects are built one well-planned phase at a time.

This 500,000 square foot, design-build manufacturing facility for Schneider Electric was delivered through a carefully sequenced, multi-phased approach that allowed manufacturing operations to begin while construction continued in adjacent areas. Working alongside our integrated design partner, DCi, our team maintained production, minimized disruption, and kept the project moving safely and efficiently.

Designed to support the production of custom electrical switchgear and medium-voltage power distribution equipment, the completed facility also includes a two-story corporate office that brings manufacturing and administrative operations together under one roof.

With construction and occupancy happening simultaneously, safety remained at the forefront throughout every phase. Through detailed planning, clear communication, and strong collaboration with our trade partners, the team successfully delivered a facility built to support the future of advanced manufacturing.

From one substation to the next!

As we wrap up our work at the Nashville Electric Service Central Substation, we're already moving on to the next NES project to construct a new control building at the White Bridge Road Substation.

We're grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside NES and appreciate their trust in us to deliver on projects that help power our community.

P.S. The greenway path will be closed, but the Lion's Head Trailhead is still open!
