With our new ArcDroid, we can automate the layout and plasma cutting of custom holes and shapes from carbon and stainless steel plate.

Its touchscreen interface allows our team to create and save custom shapes for precise, repeatable cuts. Once the setup is complete, the ArcDroid can cut multiple parts autonomously while our skilled tradespeople focus on other work. The result is greater consistency, increased shop productivity and nearly 50% labor savings compared to manual layout and cutting—all helping us deliver smarter, more efficient fabrication solutions for our customers.

Following its recent Minnesota Real Estate Journal recognition, the University of Minnesota’s Fraser Hall Chemistry Undergraduate Teaching Facility has been named one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2025!
