👷♀️ In celebration of Women in Construction Week, we’re continuing to highlight the women who help drive our projects forward every day.
🌟 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Cathi Hayes
Cathi shares what she’s most excited about for women in construction in 2026:
"Possibility, and momentum.
In 2026, women in construction aren’t asking for a seat at the table. We’re building the table.
What excites me most is how expansive this industry has become. Construction today blends strategy, sustainability, technology, leadership, and design. It rewards intelligence, collaboration, and systems thinking, and women are thriving in every one of those areas.
I’m energized by the visibility. Young women entering this field can now see female project managers, superintendents, architects, technologists, and executives. Representation changes what feels possible.
And I’m inspired by the confidence I see rising.
Women speaking up on job sites.
Leading digital transformation.
Negotiating contracts.
Mentoring others.
The future of construction is more innovative and more collaborative than ever before.
And women aren’t just part of that future, we’re shaping it.
Beam by beam.”
