Apparently we’re already at the point in the year where I’m booking meetings around Thanksgiving and Christmas. HOW?! 😂

My work calendar is officially booked through November 19th, and I’m working on filling the rest of the year!

So, to all my Delaware HVAC and plumbing friends (and the ones I haven’t met yet 😉)…

Let’s grab a coffee, sit down at your shop, or catch up for a bit!

We can talk promotions, rebates, upcoming trainings, plans for 2027, or just what I can do to make your life a little easier.

And if we’ve never worked together before? Even better. I’d love to meet you!

Shoot me a message and let’s get something on the calendar before the holiday craziness takes over!

🍂 Welcome to shoulder season.

That weird little stretch of the year where the AC finally gets a break, the heat isn’t needed yet, and homeowners are happily opening their windows.

For HVAC contractors, it can also mean something else:

The phone isn’t ringing quite as much.

And when there’s no emergency, homeowners have something they didn’t have when it was 95° outside and their AC quit:

Time to shop around.

So how do you keep your guys busy and revenue moving when replacement calls slow down?

This is a great time to shift the conversation.

→ Fall heating maintenance & tune-ups
→ Indoor air quality evaluations
→ Filter upgrades & replacements
→ Humidifiers before heating season
→ Water heater maintenance/replacement
→ Water quality testing & treatment
→ Plumbing inspections and preventative maintenance
→ Membership/maintenance agreements
→ Following up on those estimates that got a “maybe later” during the summer rush

And maybe most importantly .. reach out before the customer needs you.

Shoulder season gives contractors something peak season doesn’t always allow: time.

Time to follow up.
Time to build relationships.
Time to train the team.
Time to revisit old quotes.
Time to find smaller opportunities that keep trucks moving while positioning the company for the next busy season.

Because “window weather” doesn’t have to mean waiting around for the first cold snap.

Contractors, what are you doing during shoulder season to keep your team busy and revenue moving? 👇

What. A. Day. 🙌

Our Buying Show was PACKED today, and I can’t say thank you enough to every customer who made the trip, walked the show, stopped to say hi, placed orders, asked questions, and just showed up to be part of it.

Days like today are such a good reminder that this business really does come down to people and relationships. I’m incredibly grateful for the customers who continue to trust me, support APR Supply Co. , and allow me to be a small part of their businesses.

And a HUGE shoutout to my fellow APR teammates. 👏 There are so many moving pieces that go into making a day like today happen, and from a customer-facing perspective, this show felt smooth, organized, energetic, and successful. Seeing how packed that floor was made all of the work leading up to today worth it.

To my customers who came out: THANK YOU. I hope you had as much fun as I did!

And to everyone who helped make today happen .. you absolutely crushed it.

Another Buying Show in the books!

🚨 TOMORROW IS SHOW DAY! 🚨

We’ve spent weeks talking about it, planning for it, and getting ready… and tomorrow, it’s finally here.

I’m especially excited to see so many of my Delaware contractors making the trip to Hershey this year.

We may be a small state… but that doesn’t mean we have to show up small. 😏

Let’s show up. Let’s show out. Let’s make sure Delaware is WELL represented at the APR Buying Show tomorrow!

If you’re coming, make sure you find me .. text me when you get there because there’s a very good chance I won’t hear my phone ringing in the craziness. 😂

And don’t forget: Mega Prize check-in closes at 4:30 PM, with the drawing at 5:00! 👀🤞

Safe travels, good luck, and I’ll see you in Hershey! 🎉

Every year, there are two types of contractors.

The ones who treat the APR Supply Buying Show like "just another event."
..and the ones who circle the date on their calendar months in advance.

The difference?

The second group knows it's about a lot more than walking a trade show floor.

It's where relationships are built.
It's where conversations happen that shape the rest of the year.
It's where you get face time with manufacturers, see what's coming next, and uncover opportunities you simply won't find during a regular day at the counter.

And yes... there are some pretty incredible show-only opportunities waiting for those who attend. 😉

We're just 2½ weeks away, and I'll be spending the next couple of weeks helping customers prepare so they can get the absolute most out of the day.

If you're planning to attend but haven't reached out yet, let's connect.

And if you're still on the fence...

What are you waiting for?

See you in Hershey. 👊

Follow me on LinkedIn, I’m trying to be more active on there!

I think we need to bring carpe diem back. You know… seize the day. I’m on vacation today, which means I had this grand vision of sleeping in. Instead… My eyes popped open around 6:30 because apparently my internal alarm clock didn’t get the vacation memo. 😂 I considered rolling over. I co...

This summer has me asking a question…

What’s really happening in the HVAC replacement market?

From conversations with contractors across my territory, this has been one of the strangest cooling seasons in recent memory.

I’m seeing:
• Repair calls staying busy.
• Older equipment getting one more fix.
• Replacement conversations taking longer.
• Homeowners asking more questions before making a decision.

Even with financing available, many homeowners still seem hesitant to make the leap.

So…why?

Is it economic uncertainty?
Is it higher interest rates?
Are homeowners simply trying to squeeze one more season out of a 15-20 year-old system?
Or are we, as an industry, struggling to communicate the true cost of waiting?

Here’s the reality: every repair buys time, but it doesn’t stop an aging system from becoming less reliable, less efficient, and often more expensive to keep alive.

The contractors I see having success right now aren’t just selling equipment. They’re educating homeowners.

They’re explaining:
• The long-term cost of repeated repairs.
• Energy savings over the life of a new system.
• Comfort improvements beyond just “cold air.”
• Available financing before price becomes the objection.

The conversation has shifted from “Can I replace it?” to “Why should I replace it now?”

The contractors who answer that question well will continue to win replacements, even in a slower market.

I’m curious…

What are you seeing in your market this summer?
Are replacements down?
Are repairs up?
Or is your business telling a different story?
