The Energy Cooperative's page is monitored 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Hours are extended during major storms or events. Outages can be reported by calling us at 1-888-535-5732. Our goal on our page is to serve as a resource for information about the safe use of electricity, natural gas and propane, educate about the importance of your cooperative membership and explain the principles

by which all cooperatives operate. For your privacy, we will not post account specific information. Content shared is meant to be educational and informative, and we encourage our followers to engage in productive and respectful conversation with us and each other. When communities face challenges, neighbors step up. 🤝

Our Propane Operations Manager, Mike Sharkey, recently delivered donation checks to the Crooksville Volunteer Fire Department and Roseville Volunteer Fire Department to support their ongoing flood restoration efforts.

According to Chief Dyrall Newlon, the funding will help Crooksville purchase a new rescue boat, strengthening their ability to respond when residents need them most. At the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department, JT Roberts shared that the donation will be used to purchase additional rescue supplies to support community members during emergencies.

We are proud to support these dedicated first responders and grateful for everything they do to keep our communities safe. ❤️🚒

If you're cooking outdoors, you don't need a complicated contraption. A properly maintained gas grill and a few simple safety precautions are all you need.

Our crews have been working hard to repair damage caused by flooding and saturated ground conditions across our service territory. As floodwaters recede, we encourage everyone to stay alert and use caution around their property and throughout their neighborhood.

⚠️ Stay clear of downed trees and unstable limbs, especially near utility lines. Assume every downed power line is energized and dangerous.

🔥 Contact us if your propane tank has moved or tipped over. Do not attempt to use propane until we've made repairs.

⛽ Never approach exposed or damaged natural gas piping. If you smell rotten eggs or hear a hissing sound, leave the area right away. Call 911 first, then contact us from a safe location.
