Grunau’s underground crew has already started on this south suburban high school expansion with Grunau’s plumbers ramping up work this summer. This project includes a new pool, fieldhouse, plus additional classrooms and shops targeted for science and technical education.

Grunau was happy to graduate 2 Youth Apprentices from the program this year, secure 2 new Youth Apprentices for the coming year, and have one of our past Youth Apprentices speak at this event. This program is great to allow students a chance to experience the trades while finishing school and move into full-time jobs upon graduation.

Grunau’s Safety Week lunch for our Oak Creek team was held on Thursday with the popular Azteca Restaurant MKE food truck. A sunny spring day allowed teammates to enjoy eating al fresco. A great way to celebrate Safety Week and Grunau’s commitment to safety in all that we do.

Celebrating the Hispanic American culture with a Cinco de Mayo potluck lunch at our Grunau office today. Delicious homemade tamales, nacho fixings, Mexican street corn and chili were among the menu items, plus desserts including fried ice cream and churros. Yum! Three of our People team members joined us from MN for today’s lunch, adding more fun to the fiesta!
