This is a part of our driveway we had to repair after the flood. We repaired it and then Army Corp hauled debri out of here for days, the neighbors built a house so there was a lot of traffic, heavy traffic, concrete trucks, etc. This is how it still looks, that's why we use granite. And we don't have white dust on our vehicle windows, lol.

I reached out to Samaritan's Purse about my review on Butler Ridge that said we cut corners. They had an evaluator go look to see if there was a problem with our work that would have given someone a reason to give us a bad review. They called me back and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with our work and they would be happy to use us in the future. The guy said it was sad to say but they ran into ungrateful people a lot. And please, if you have a problem with our work, discuss it with us before you give us a bad review. If you don't it looks like a personal thing, google sees it that way also.

Putting a little gravel on a road we graded several years ago, before & after. If people would walk & follow the water trail a lot of the time it's something as simple as a twig that has the water diverted or preventing the water from getting in the ditch. The price of gravel has gotten crazy high, you need to try to keep what you got from washing away. Just a little walk & a shovel might help. If not, give us a call, 828-442-8791.

Re-graveled a parking area on Gateway Mtn. We got Godfrey Hauling to haul our gravel, the driveway was way too tight for our tri-axle. He couldn't get too close because of the deck, but left it thick enough for us to work up to edges. And of course I had to shovel some around the heating & ac units, but all in all this ole woman didn't have much hand work! Thanks Mike Godfrey, you done a great job!

Samartian's Purse paid for the road repair on Butler Ridge, which surprised us because it has been used commercially for 15+ years going to a stump-dump & neglected just as long. When people start filling places with river-rock, mine-waste and Lord knows what else you can't scrape or grade it. You got to build it up, and we did. You don't have to have deep ditches lined with rip-rap, especially if the road is flat. We had a review about it, said the road had aged in the couple months since we been done. I agree, because it was used by dumptruck's during & after the time we repaired the road, and still is. But it's only in one section at the entrance. There's a water line on one side which is busted and a culvert higher than the road on the other side, there's nothing we could do there except put over-sized stone in it and gravel it. We put 600 tons of stone on this road & I turned in an estimate for 300 more tons. We weren't even allowed to make it right before we got a bad review. đŸ˜•
