This June, we're recognizing Safety Month by focusing on the habits and decisions that protect us. Safety isn't just about what happens on the jobsite.
It's about the choices we make every day. Whether you're at work, at home, on the road, or spending time with family, staying alert, taking action, and looking out for one another helps keep everyone safe!

As summer gets underway, we encourage everyone to make safety a priority to help protect not only yourselves, but everyone around you!

Every decision matters. Every person matters. Let's work together to make this a safe and successful summer for all!

Patriot Overhead and Hoist is proud to support local students pursuing excellence in the skilled trades.

We recently made a donation to Plattsmouth Community Schools to help support Joshua Vanbilliard and his Shop Teacher, Randy Schroeder, as they travel to Atlanta, Georgia for the SkillsUSA National Competition in Automotive Mechanics from June 1st through June 5th.

We recognize the hard work, dedication, and commitment it takes to reach the national level, and we are honored to support Joshua and Randy as they represent Plattsmouth Schools on the national stage.

Best of luck to both of them at the SkillsUSA National Competition! We are proud to support the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

Last Thursday, May 14th, we officially celebrated Patriot Nation and King Equipment's Open House and Ribbon Cutting!

Thank you to everyone who came out to tour the facility, connect with our team, and help make the day such a success. We'd also like to give a special thank you to the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce for helping us commemorate this exciting milestone!

Construction Safety Week is a reminder that safety is more than a policy. It is a commitment we make to each other every single day. From OSHA’s Focus Four hazards: falls, electrocutions, struck-by, and caught-in/between incidents, to the Three Pillars of Safety Week: Recognize, Respond, and Respect, the goal remains the same: making sure every person goes home safe at the end of the day.

At Patriot, safety isn’t something we talk about one week out of the year. It’s part of our culture, our jobsites, and the way we operate every day. Recognizing hazards, responding the right way, and respecting the responsibility we all share helps create a safer workplace for everyone around us.

We’re proud to share that this marks the third year we’ve been recognized as one of Nebraska’s Safest Companies. That recognition belongs to every employee who chooses to stay aware, look out for their team, and put safety first every day.

Today's focus during Construction Safety Week is RESPECT.

Respect goes beyond words on a jobsite. It’s shown through the way we treat one another, follow safety standards, care for our equipment, and look out for the people beside us every day.

Strong safety cultures are built on trust, accountability, and teamwork.
When we respect the job and each other, everyone has a better chance of making it home safe.

Safety isn’t just about recognizing hazards. It's also knowing how to respond when something goes wrong.

During Construction Safety Week, we’re focusing on RESPOND by encouraging preparation, clear communication, and quick action when it matters most.

The right response in the right moment can make all the difference.
Stay calm. Stay prepared. Take care of one another on the jobsite.

Safety starts with what you notice!

During Construction Safety Week, we’re putting the spotlight on RECOGNIZE, taking the time to truly see the risks around you before they become something bigger.

A quick pause. A second look. Speaking up when something feels off.
Identifying high-energy, high-hazard risks before they turn into incidents can make all the difference!
Because at the end of the day, nothing matters more than getting everyone home safe.

It's Construction Safety Week!
Time to refocus on what matters most: getting everyone HOME safe.
OSHA's Focus Four hazards are responsible for over half of construction fatalities. Awareness on the job isn't optional; it's essential.

Take a moment each day to:
• Watch for fall risks and use proper protection
• Stay clear of live wires and energized equipment
• Be aware of your surroundings to avoid being caught in/between equipment/objects
• Stay visible and alert around moving equipment

A few extra seconds of awareness can prevent serious accidents and injuries!
Stay alert. Stay safe.
