🔥 We are thrilled the weather held off so we could participate in the 4th Annual Spindletop Showdown BBQ Cook‑Off! 🔥

The Spindletop Showdown brings together industry leaders, contractors, and safety professionals to support safety excellence and our local community. The event raises funds for the 2026 Contractor Safety Awards which recognizes and celebrates those with a culture of safety. A big thank‑you to ISTC – Industrial Safety Training Council and the Golden Triangle Business Roundtable for hosting such an outstanding event!

We are excited to share that this was our company’s first year competing, and our team showed up strong:

🏆 2nd Place — Chicken
🏆 3rd Place — Ribs

These wins are all due to the hard work, culinary skills, and teamwork of everyone who stepped in — from planning and prepping to cooking and serving. A huge thank you to all the employees who volunteered their time and talent to make our first appearance such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Because of the generosity of many at our site, we were able to deliver more than 1,000 food items to the Salvation Army this morning! What an amazing way to start to the holiday season!

On Friday, a dedicated group of employees from ARLANXEO rolled up their sleeves and gave back to our community during United Way of Orange County Day of Caring!

We spent the day at the YMCA in Port Arthur, where we 🎨 Painted the children’s room used for their day camp, bringing fresh color and energy to a space where kids learn and play. 🛠️ Leveled an area of the playground to make a safer space for a picnic table—creating a welcoming spot for outdoor fun and connection.

After a morning of hard work and teamwork, we wrapped up the day with a well-deserved lunch to celebrate our efforts and the impact we made.

It was a day filled with teamwork, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.

We’re proud to support the United Way and YMCA and hope we were able to create brighter spaces for the children in our community. 💙❤️

Today, a group of our employees had the privilege of volunteering at the Southeast Texas Food Bank. They spent the morning assembling 8 pallets of pantry-stable food boxes for local seniors in need.

Community outreach is an important part of the Orange Site, and we’re proud to support an organization that makes such a meaningful impact. A big thank you to the Food Bank for letting us be part of the good work you do every day!

The Orange Site was pleased to host ARLANXEO CEO, Stephan van Santbrink and Chief Business Officer, John Sawaya last week. While in Orange, Stephan and John were treated to good Texas BBQ (thanks to Redbird for the tour of the restaurant), informative sessions with the Orange Site Management Team, and an interactive site tour.

During their visit, together with Site Manager, Jonathan Doyle, they led a townhall to review the Orange Site performance and offer updates on the business. Stephan also recognized two groups of employees who had been awarded distinctions from the company.

One group of employees was awarded the CEO Award in the area of Safety. The CEO Award recognizes extraordinary achievements and is ARLANXEO’s highest honor. These employees were involved in the 2024 Safety Leadership Training Program which was created to provide tools and knowledge to our leaders to bring our safety performance to the next level through promoting a culture of care and building trust. The Orange Site employees recognized were Cody Boullion, David Hulsey, Drew Pennington, Grant Hanson, Israel Self, Jason Forester, Mark Bland, Michael Sampson, and Troy Trahan. They were under the leadership of Alex Soileau.

Another award presented was to the employees who had the top submission for March to the Before & After Safety Program. This program recognizes teams of employees who champion changes that improve day to day safety at the site. The Orange Site employees recognized were Shane Sonnier, Scott Warren, and David Sourdellia.

We love seeing our team give back!

Several of our employees volunteered at the Orange Lions Club Carnival this past week, supporting a great cause and making memories with the Orange County Community.

We were especially proud to support one of our own, Jonathan Davis (Environmental Engineer), who is a 4th generation member of the Lions Club - continuing a legacy of service.

From ensuring safety on rides, running the ferris wheel, and helping kids and families around the carnival grounds, our team was all in to make the evening a success.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and represented ARLANXEO Orange Site with pride.
