SCOTT General Contracting is proud to announce the completion of the New Catalina Kitchen + Bar located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The CATALINA Kitchen & Bar is the first restaurant in North Carolina for the Ditka’s Restaurant Group.

The 5,800-square-foot State of the Art restaurant includes a spacious and bold interior including high-top and open table dining areas along with a trendy and inviting bar and patio area.

With an expansive background in building and renovating fitness centers, SGC was excited to collaborate with Studios Fuse in Lincoln Park, IL to help create the latest trend in the fitness arena.
By sharing various fitness resources, Fuse opened a 15,000 square foot facility housing Sproing Fitness, Hang 5 Barre and Board, Kick@55 Fitness, Yoga Space and Juice RX.
SGC’s fitness clients trust their experience to help budget, estimate and value engineer a project to facilitate a smooth and successful turnover.

The new DITKA’s GRILL is a luxurious, dynamically lighted restaurant space infused with contemporary and traditional inspirations that blends perfectly throughout its spacious floor plan.

The world of baseball lost a true legend today. Hank Aaron was my boss for 4 years. He was a great man who was supportive and kind, even when he released me. He insisted I use him as a reference and came through during my Blockbuster construction manager interview. Looking back today, I’m grateful to Mr. Aaron for putting me on the right path.

Scott General Contracting recently completed an interior build out for Carousel Checks, a financial check and banking accessory supplier, located off Southwest Highway in Palos Hills, IL. Occupying an old Ace Hardware store, Scott General Contracting remodeled over 53,000 square feet including creating a new loading dock, modifications of building systems for office layout, new finishes throughout, and a refresh of the exterior facade.

In 1997, we started Scott General Contracting, Inc. Armed with a construction management background from my years at Blockbuster Video and a commitment to delivering a professional product to my customers every time, we have been fortunate to see this company grow beyond my early expectations. We have partnered with terrific business owners and expert subcontractors who have made this 20-year journey a fulfilling and successful one.
