Take a look at the incredible transformation taking place at The Groves at Kelly Park in Apopka, Florida.

Just over a year ago, this site was in the early stages of earthwork and site preparation. Today, it is well on its way to becoming a 300-unit garden-style apartment community featuring resort-style amenities and modern living spaces.

Safety is not just a policy at SDC — it is part of how we work every day.

We are proud to recognize our Safety Team and field crews for continuing to keep safety at the front of everything we do. On one of our large active subdivision projects, the home builder recently shared:

“Thanks to the SDC team for another great safety audit. Your SDC score of 99.38% helped the entire Division achieve the highest score ever with a score of 98.06%. Again, THANK YOU!!!”

That kind of feedback reflects the pride, discipline, organization, and teamwork our people bring to every jobsite. From safety rigging organization to tagging systems and daily field practices, our teams understand that safety is more than a number — it is a commitment.

Recognition goes out to Chase Gatlin and Jamel Barnes for their commitment to equipment care and operational efficiency on our Flemings Road project.

Reducing idle time helps improve fuel efficiency, decrease wear on equipment and support a more productive job site. Great work by both team members leading by example in the field.
