Andy noticed that the barricade for underground pipe excavation was insufficient and did not extend past the perimeter of the excavation in two locations, creating a potential risk for anyone walking alongside it.

He immediately raised the concern with the superintendent, and the crew quickly corrected the barricade to ensure the excavation was fully secured.

A great example of staying observant, speaking up, and taking quick action to prevent a potential incident. Safety is a shared responsibility, and moments like this make a real difference.
