Join us in celebrating David Puglisi, Class of 2013 (HVAC & Refrigeration) as our May Alumni of the Month.

From Blue Hills to Wentworth Institute of Technology and into the field, David built an impressive career managing major construction projects for hospitals, universities, and research labs across Boston. His work even supported the rapid build-out of lab spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, he has taken that experience and followed a long-time goal by launching his own company, Harborside Heating & Cooling LLC.
David shares:

Old R‑22 coils tell the whole story.
R‑22 was outlawed in MA when the EPA ended all production/import in 2020. Prices skyrocketed, parts dried up, and the refrigerant itself is a high ozone‑depleter.
