Since Facebook doesn't let us post both photos and videos at the same time, we just wanted to share these videos because they're awesome. our Ridge Robotics Team 10584 robot, "Ridgey II" never got a chance to shoot foul shots but yesterday we did and it had to move a little closer to the rim but once those shots went in the crowd went crazy LOL

Special thanks to Mrs. Gable and the staff at P.A. Guth Elementary School- PSD for giving us the opportunity to have a lot of fun and bring the next generation of STEM and Robotics at Pennridge to the forefront!!!

It was our first FIRST Robotics Competition meet and greet as we work to secure our future program leaders as well as hopefully next year's first Lego League competition team members. Ridge Robotics Team 10584 was at P.A. Guth Elementary School- PSD where some of our alumni and Senior leaders spent an hour meeting All of the gifted and enrichment students as well as the connects club members. Their enthusiasm, energy, and spirit of innovation as well as curiosity is exactly what we are looking for across all of the elementary and middle schools in the Pennridge School District !!

We also were fired up with their Interest in starting something exciting and new next year!
FIRST actually stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.
Next year our Ridge Robotics program is looking to expand and start a FIRST Lego League team for grades 3-7; ages 9-13 from any of our schools to work together as well as a FIRST FTC (First Tech Challenge) team for ages 12-18; grades 7-12. More information to come about that. So make sure to follow this page so you don't miss any of the big news coming up in the next weeks and months over the summer.

We're trying to set up as many of these events as possible at all of the other elementary and middle schools. so stay tuned because we'll be trying to come to your school soon and introduce you to our robot as well as fast Rising and successful program with the full support of Pennridge!

This team has been working so hard to make extra modifications to an already successful robot.
Special thanks to our newest sponsor Gene Haas Foundation for helping us out by becoming one of our top three sponsors with a $3,000 Grant. The new sticker looks phenomenal on the bot next to lots of other great swag provided by the Pennridge Athletics department! We're also incredibly grateful for some of our team parents for buying us our new floor mats and for One of our up-and-coming elementary students, Grayson, for 3D printing are cool chains and medallion swag.

We're at Bensalem High School all weekend long for our second of two season competitions and hopefully to score enough points to qualify for our first ever District Championship in a few weeks.!!!
