We've been getting asked a lot of questions about Radon lately so thought we'd share this chart again 😀

Radon is a topic we've been hearing a lot about again and rightfully so. This article from the EPA states how Radon is one of the leading causes of lung cancer, and the CDC article shows how radon can enter any home. That being said, South Dakota is one of the HIGHEST states for Radon levels,yet sadly it is rarely tested for. However we are here to help! Our company can help you with testing or monitors and provide you with solutions if your levels come back high.

With this cold snap we've been getting lots of calls, so please be patient with our techs as they strive to keep you all warm and your water flowing the next few days 🔥

Also, we wanted to share some tips for this cold spell:

🚰 Let faucets stream slowly (especially on exterior walls)
🚪 Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate
🧊 Cover or insulate exposed pipes, outdoor spigots, and crawl spaces
🔥 Keep your thermostat set to the same temperature day and night
❄️keep the thermostat set at 65 or higher to give yourself a buffer in case something does quit.
🏠 Seal drafts around doors, windows, and where pipes enter the house
🚗 If leaving town, NEVER turn the heat off
