We removed a kitchen wall and found supply and return ductwork running through it.
That changed the plan. The new route had to protect airflow while preserving the open layout the homeowners wanted. We studied a soffit that could carry the rerouted ductwork and still feel intentional in the finished room.
These are the parts of remodeling that rarely show up in the finished photos, but they shape the result. A good plan leaves room to solve what nobody could see on day one.
