Congratulations to Calhoun High School graduate EmmaLeigh Beck on signing an offer letter with Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas and beginning an exciting new chapter in her career.
EmmaLeigh earned this opportunity through hard work, dedication, and success in the Calhoun High School Process Technology Program, a long-standing partnership between Calhoun County ISD, Victoria College, and Formosa Plastics that helps prepare local students for rewarding careers right here in our community.
"We are always searching for great employees to add to our winning team," said Mike Rivet, Assistant Vice President & General Manager of Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas. "EmmaLeigh Beck excelled in her courses and inspired us all. We are proud to welcome her into our Formosa family."
EmmaLeigh also becomes the first female student to sign a Formosa offer through the program before graduation, an achievement that reflects her determination, hard work, and the opportunities available to local students through strong community partnerships.
