A great morning giving back to our local community! 🌿

Employees from Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. in NJ recently spent the morning volunteering at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo, picking up litter and removing invasive plants around the reservoir.

Together, our team collected 169.39 pounds of waste while working side by side to help care for an area many in our community enjoy.

Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. also provided a monetary gift to support Turtle Back Zoo and its work in the community.

Thank you to all of our employees who volunteered their time and helped make a difference. It was a great morning of teamwork, giving back, and enjoying some time together outside.

A new Little Free Library is now available for our Point Comfort community! 📚

The Formosa HR Team created the Formosa Little Lending Library in honor of Ken Mounger and his 42 years of service to Formosa. His kindness and commitment to helping others continue to inspire our employees.

Bringing this idea to life was truly a team effort. Members of the Formosa Texas Maintenance Division generously contributed their time and skills to build the library. Their support is a wonderful example of Formosa employees using their talents to make a difference in our community.

Located alongside the Formosa Blessing Box, the Little Lending Library includes books for both children and adults.

We invite you to stop by, take a book, leave a book, or donate school supplies for local students and families. Every contribution can make a difference for a neighbor. 💙

A sweet start to the new school year! 🍨

Formosa was proud to support our local teachers and staff as a Sandcrab Sponsor of the 2026 Back to School Academy on Thursday, Aug. 6.

Our employees joined in the fun by serving ice cream floats to Calhoun County ISD staff as they came together for networking and professional development.

Formosa’s General Affairs Department hosted a food drive to support our local community. ❤️

What started as a goal to collect 500 food items turned into something much bigger.

From June 22 through July 24, Formosa employees, contractors, and our employee Rec Club helped collect food for Calhoun County Community Ministries. Thanks to their generosity, a total of 1,347 food items and $400 were delivered to the organization.

The Rec Club helped Formosa surpass its goal by purchasing 454 food items with money raised from the previous year’s Christmas party poker chips.

These donations were desperately needed to help replenish the food bank’s shelves through the end of summer and into the new school year.

Thank you to Formosa’s General Affairs team for coordinating this event and to everyone who contributed.

As FPC TX continually strives to improve its methodologies and processes, it finds discussions with industry experts helpful as they share their best practices.

Our employees made an incredible difference for patients across South Texas. ❤️

Thank you to every employee who donated blood, signed up, and encouraged others to participate, or helped support Formosa’s three-day blood drive in partnership with South Texas Blood & Tissue. Along with our contractors and community, you made this event an overwhelming success at a time when the national blood supply is at a record low and patient care is being affected.

Together, we collected 212 units of blood, reaching 200% of our goal. Those donations can help as many as 636 patients in our community.

This was the largest mobile event in South Texas for 2026, south of San Antonio. All three days took the No. 1 spot for daily blood collections, sign-ups, first-time donors, turnout, and percentage of the collection goal achieved. July 29 was also Formosa’s largest blood collection day in the past nine years.

These numbers represent more than the success of a blood drive. They represent patients who can receive care when they need it most.

To our Formosa employees, contractors, and community, thank you for answering the call and showing what can happen when people come together to help others. Everyone involved should be very, very proud!

The merger is intended to simplify the corporate structure and enhance administrative efficiencies while maintaining the high level of service and support customers and business partners have come to expect.

Existing business relationships, product offerings, customer contacts, and day-to-day operations will continue without interruption.

Last June, we added solar-powered pumps to our 245-acre wetlands. They’re quiet, produce no direct emissions, and can move up to 240 gallons of water per minute. The pumps help us manage water levels while reducing our reliance on traditional energy sources.

A system of berms, weirs, and valves guides water to different areas as conditions change. This helps maintain a healthy habitat for wildlife that lives here year-round, as well as animals that stop during seasonal migrations.

It’s a great example of how renewable energy, thoughtful planning, and nature can work together to support a thriving ecosystem.

A cleaner community starts with people who care! 💙

On July 17, approximately 30 of our employees and their family members rolled up their sleeves for the Clean the Causeway Beach event, supporting the Texas General Land Office’s beach cleanup efforts.

Their goal was to collect 1,200 pieces of litter, but they went above and beyond! Together, they collected nearly 2,800 pieces, filled more than 30 bags and removed several large items from the causeway between Port Lavaca and Point Comfort.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out to help. Your hard work is helping keep our community clean and beautiful!
