Hey Alexa, close my shades! With smart blinds, you can maximize your home’s efficiency by keeping the summer sun out. Control your blinds via an app or schedule them to close during the warmest part of the day and open again as the sun goes down. They're also helpful for hard-to-reach windows or for those who are unable to adjust them independently.

Power surges spike in the summertime. Summer brings storms, and storms bring lightning that can damage your electronics! Be sure to snag some surge protectors before the summer storms are in full swing.

⚠️Planned Outage Notice ⚠️
Ozark Border has been working for quite some time to upgrade the voltage on a portion of our system on Hwy 67 north of Poplar Bluff. This improvement is one step in a plan intended to increase reliability for a much larger part of Butler County. The final portion of this conversion will take place tomorrow and will require a planned outage for 279 accounts. This outage will begin at 9:00 AM, tomorrow, June 11th, and is expected to last approximately 1 ½ hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible!💡💚

Some summers change everything, even how you dry your laundry.

This season, we’re choosing Team Sunshine. ☀️ Skip the dryer and let laundry air dry instead. Hanging clothes outside or using a drying rack indoors can help lower energy use and reduce wear on your clothes.
