⏩ 130 Years of Forward. From the beginning.

In 1896, Gottlieb Daimler built the first truck, an invention we still rely on today.

Across generations, it’s changed, evolved, and advanced, but the mission has remained the same. Creating vehicles for all who keep the world moving.

⏳ Let’s time travel.

Our camera has officially reached medium-well. ☀️

🌵 While many were on summer vacation, our engineering team headed to one of the hottest places on Earth to put our vehicles to the test.

Triple-digit temps near Death Valley. Steep grades. Relentless heat. Every mile is about proving durability, performance, and reliability so our customers can count on their trucks when it matters most.

⚙️ Proven performance. Future-ready.

The Detroit Gen 6 is here. With approximately 75% carryover core components and more than 8 million validation miles, the Detroit DD13/DD15 lineup is designed for EPA 2027 compliance without sacrificing the performance customers count on. It preserves the durability, serviceability, and operating characteristics fleets have relied on for years.

The engine you know. Better than ever. Ordering opens Sept. 1.

Innovating for the future: Coming 2029 🏗️

We’ve announced plans to build a state-of-the-art, purpose-built manufacturing facility in the U.S., designed to expand capacity and add operational flexibility across our North American production network.

With advanced production technologies and adaptable assembly processes, this greenfield site will help us deliver on evolving customer demand across vocational and on-highway applications while keeping production aligned with where our customers operate.

We’re currently evaluating multiple locations. Construction is expected to begin in late 2026, with operations targeted to start in 2029.

Portland remains home to our DTNA headquarters and engineering hub, where teams continue to innovate, develop, test, and validate the next generation of commercial vehicles.

⏩ Here’s to building the future.

🚚 We're proud to help keep OOIDA’s Spirit of the American Trucker tour rolling with a new Fifth Generation Freightliner Cascadia.

Veteran driver and Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) brand ambassador Marty Ellis will haul the Spirit trailer nationwide, meeting drivers at truck stops and industry events to listen, share resources, and spotlight driver advocacy.

Along the way, drivers can step into the cab and experience Cascadia innovations firsthand, including Detroit Assurance safety systems like ABA6, MirrorCam, and an integrated Demand Detroit powertrain built for confidence, efficiency, and productivity.

Because when you work for all who keep the world moving, you show up where the work happens.
