This was the equipment we changed out yesterday, it’s 40 years old and has both original motors, original compressor and both coils are original.
When I started this air-conditioning trade 38 years ago this was the equipment I learned on. It makes me quite dismayed of the quality of today’s equipment, in fact I can’t even imagine if it can get worse. 
We rarely did warranty work back then and now it’s a main part of our business. 
There’s no brand better than the other, it’s all terrible.

We had a good accomplishment at this Church in Punta Gorda.
We had a refrigerant leak in the office unit, after searching the evaporator and condensing unit with no trace of a leak we decided to perform an isolation test, this separates the copper lines from the equipment and sure enough the leak was in the copper suction line.
Rather than replacing 135 feet of copper that was 20 feet high we scoured all of that suction line until we found and repaired the leak.
Left the vacuum pump run over night down to 135 microns which indicates a leak free system. Recharged the system and cooling properly at this time.
