Love letter to my community:
Hello, my name is Marcus and I am the owner of Obrien Mountain Home, based out of Redding Ca, we are the North State's first official company dedicated to Home Hardening. Although I would love to have a very successful and thriving business, my real passion is the idea that the North State create fire safe communities and lead the charge to reduce the risk of wildfire devastation. In 2018 the Carr fire burned 229,651 acres and over 1000 homes were lost, then later that same year the Camp fire destroyed 18,000 structures, killed 85 people, and devastated the town of Paradise. This is my backyard and I am thus galvanized to take action, and help prevent the same thing from continuing to occur. I am not sure exactly how my services might best be optimized to create the positive changes we need, but as a new business I am exploring new partnerships everyday and discovering new possibilities at every turn.
