🛠️ Inspiring the Next Generation of Builders! 🏗️

Yesterday, our very own Kitt Jarzabkowski teamed up with some awesome 8th graders in Mr. Tyler White’s class at Reed City Middle School (RCMS) to talk all things construction!

With Mr. White bringing his own real-world industry background into the classroom, these students are already getting a fantastic foundation. Kitt got a firsthand look at what they’ve been learning and shared insights into the many rewarding career paths available. A few of the many topics covered included:

- Safety first and the vital role of OSHA
- The ins and outs of construction, trucking, concrete, and trades
- Why strong communication is the ultimate tool on any job site

This group was highly engaged, full of fantastic questions, and eager to share their own knowledge. It’s inspiring to see this next generation getting ready to build the infrastructure of our future—the future of the trade industries is looking incredibly bright!

Yesterday, state officials and community leaders gathered to break ground on Chobani’s massive $567 million La Colombe expansion. This project is a huge win for West Michigan, bringing 340 new jobs and expanding production by 200,000 square feet.

Ge**er Construction is officially on-site! We are thrilled to partner as a subcontractor and are handling the critical site work and concrete work to lay the foundation for this amazing facility.

Our own Bill Terryn was on-site yesterday to celebrate the kickoff. Stay tuned for project photos as we get to work!

What a great turnout at last night’s fun-filled ribbon cutting and official opening of the Reed City Pocket Park with .

We were proud to serve as General Contractor for this great new addition to downtown Reed City and to help bring the community’s vision to life. What an incredible event for a space designed to bring people together.
