Third-party tested and adventure-approved. Mike of Truck Camper Adventure recently took Battle Born’s new 200W Portable Solar Panel into the wild and came back impressed by its thoughtful design, lightweight portability, and reliable real-world performance for off-grid adventures.

There’s been a lot of discussion recently around the design of the positive terminal in Battle Born 100Ah batteries. We took the time to validate field data, complete additional testing, and share a level of technical detail we wouldn’t normally disclose.

Today, we’re releasing a technical note explaining how the terminal is designed, why it works, how it performs under real-world conditions, and why certain demonstrations don’t reflect how the battery operates as intended.

This design has been validated through third-party certification and over a decade of field use across hundreds of thousands of batteries, with no instances of fire or cell damage associated with this mechanism to the company’s knowledge.
