November 4-H County Council Meeting!

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, from 6:00–7:30 PM for our November County Council meeting!

This month, we’re getting creative with the Georgia Radon Poster Contest! Students will learn about radon, why it matters, and create their own posters to help spread awareness.

We’ll also be talking about District Project Achievement (DPA), upcoming 4-H opportunities, and our December Holiday Karaoke Party!

Come ready to learn, create, and have some fun! We hope to see you there!

5th Grade 4-H Parents!

We have officially wrapped up all of our 4-H DPA project introductions, and we will begin watching the first student presentations next week!

As a reminder, your 5th grader is working on a District Project Achievement (DPA) project! Each presentation should include:

* A 4–6 minute speech written on index cards, including an introduction, 3–4 main speaking points, and a conclusion.
* 3 posters to help explain their topic. Don’t worry, these can be made using ONE poster board with two sides! Check out the graphic below for an example.
* Optional props, costumes, or other items that help bring their presentation to life!

We know students (and parents!) may have questions as they put everything together, and we are happy to help! Whether you need clarification on the requirements, help with a topic, or just want to make sure your student is on the right track, please reach out!

It’s time to assemble for Junior Conference 2026!

Join us November 14–15 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center for a weekend packed with fun, friends, dancing, and unforgettable 4-H adventures!

Date: November 14–15, 2026

Location: Rock Eagle 4-H Center

Who: 6th–8th grade 4-H’ers

Cost: $35 per participant

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28!

We need to know ASAP if your 4-H’er wants to attend so we can get everyone registered in time!

MOO-ve over, we've got a new member of the Catoosa County 4-H family!
Meet Waffle Fry, our adopted dairy calf!

Through Discover Dairy's Adopt a Cow program, our 4-H students will get to follow Waffle Fry as she grows up on a real dairy farm!

Throughout the school year, we'll receive photos and updates, learn how dairy farmers care for their animals, and discover more about where our food comes from.

We can't wait to watch Waffle Fry grow and share her adventures with you!
Help us give Waffle Fry a big Catoosa County 4-H welcome!

Our Catoosa County 4-H dancers brought their best zombie moves to the dance floor as they learned the iconic Thriller dance!

From spooky steps to lots of laughs, these kids had a frighteningly fun time!

A huge thank-you to our talented Master 4-H Dancer for leading this fun fall break activity!

We think Michael Jackson would be proud of these little zombies! 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️

Today, our Catoosa County 4-H’ers took a trip back in time aboard the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum’s Missionary Ridge Local!

From riding the rails to exploring railroad history and learning about the locomotives that helped shape transportation, our 4-H’ers enjoyed a day full of discovery, adventure, and fun!

We even made time for lunch at the Riverpark and enjoyed spending the day together.

There’s nothing quite like taking learning outside the classroom and making memories along the way!

From the soil beneath our feet to the forests, wildlife, water, crops, and animals around us, agriculture and natural resources are full of opportunities to explore.

4-H helps young people understand the world around them and learn how they can help care for it.

You never know where a little curiosity might lead!
