What a wonderfully busy weekend for the Catoosa County 4-H youth!

Eight of our 4-H’ers chose to spend their weekend “making the best better” at Northwest District Project Achievement at Rock Eagle, where they each competed in their chosen project area.

We are especially excited to be sending Abigail Healey to State Congress for her outstanding work in the Poultry Project! We are also proud to celebrate Penelope Pepper, who was selected as President of the Northwest District Junior Board.

Congratulations to all of our participants for representing Catoosa County 4-H so well!

Volunteers are already working hard, judges are in place and speeches have begun for Northwest District Project Achievement. We would like to wish our 8 Catoosa County youth who have chosen to spend their long weekend working hard giving speeches and making food in front of judges luck. As well as the over 45 kids campaigning for only 16 board spots available this weekend.

📅 December 13–14
Three of our amazing high school 4-H’ers had the opportunity to spend an unforgettable weekend at Rock Eagle alongside hundreds of other high school students from across the state! 🍀
Not only did they get to hang out with friends, but they also danced the night away, gave back through community service, built teamwork skills, and explored what their futures could look like—especially when it comes to financial planning. They even learned about One Georgia, another incredible opportunity available to Georgia 4-H high school youth.
We are so proud of these students for representing our program so well and taking full advantage of everything 4-H has to offer! 🌟
