The AdamBots traveled to Capitol Hill to advocate for funding that is essential for STEM programs and education. On day 3 of the National Advocacy Conference we met with the offices of Rep. Lisa McClain, Rep. Haley Stevens, Rep. John James, Rep. Tim Walberg, and Elissa Slotkin.

The AdamBots are fighting for the legislation like ESSA and words in the NDAA that allow kids across the country to participate in programs like FIRST.

We will continue our advocacy journey in October with the Michigan Advocacy Conference and crucial local advocacy.

Thank you SASA for hosting NAC and thank you to the offices that care strongly about STEM funding and education.

💜🕊️ Relay for Life

The AdamBots proudly participated in their 21st annual Relay for Life in support of the American Cancer Society.

This year, the team had the honor of hosting the event at Adams High School, raising $8,400. Over the past 19 years, the AdamBots have contributed approximately $150,000 to the cause.

Luminaries were placed around the track in honor of those currently battling cancer, in remembrance of those lost, and in celebration of survivors.

The AdamBots remain committed to supporting the American Cancer Society and will continue their fundraising efforts in the years ahead.

Day 1 in D.C.🇺🇸

Our team learnt the skills needed for advocacy and all of the legislation that effects STEM Education at the national level.

Charlie finished 3rd place out of 144 people in trivia.

We then ended the day visiting the Capitol building and the surrounding buildings, and took a side tour in D.C. led by Mrs. Mhukerjee.
