🏠 Your roof can have a problem long before you see a leak. That’s what makes spotting roof damage tricky.
A missing shingle is obvious. Water dripping from the ceiling is obvious.
But some of the most expensive roof problems start with a hard-to-see issue:
🔹 Shingles that have lifted or loosened after high winds
🔹 Cracked or damaged flashing around vents and chimneys
🔹 Granule loss that leaves shingles more vulnerable to the sun
🔹 Small areas where water is getting underneath the roofing system
🔹 Storm damage that isn’t easy to spot from the ground
Waiting for a ceiling stain isn’t the best way to find out your roof has a problem. By the time water makes it through the roof, decking, insulation and ceiling, a small repair may have already turned into a much bigger one.
We have had some strong winds, falling limbs and severe weather in the area. So, it’s worth having your roof looked at even if everything seems fine from your driveway. A little prevention can save you a whole lot of headache later.
