TRUE OR FALSE: Does your A/C remove humidity? 🤔

✅ TRUE! Your air conditioner does help remove moisture from the air while it cools your home, but how well it removes humidity depends on your system, how it’s sized, and the temperature you keep your thermostat set at.

In Florida’s humid climate, we recommend keeping your home below 76°F to help your A/C operate efficiently and remove moisture as effectively as possible.

We also recommend adding a whole-home dehumidifier for many Florida homes. A dehumidifier works alongside your A/C to better control indoor humidity, improve comfort, and help your system run more efficiently.
