And we’re helping by offering, for a limited time: $25-OFF any air conditioning repair over $200!

If you take us up on this, our experienced technicians will provide honest recommendations, dependable service, and the kind of care that will keep your home cool as Utah summer temperatures rise.

Many homeowners leave their HVAC fan set to “ON” during summer months without realizing it can actually increase indoor humidity.

That’s because, when the fan keeps running after the A/C cycle ends, it can circulate moisture back through the home instead of letting the system properly remove it.

But setting your fan to “AUTO” helps your system cool and dehumidify more effectively while also reducing unnecessary wear and energy use.

It’s a simple tip, but one that can help your home feel cooler, drier, and more comfortable all summer long.

Strong water flow feels great—but if your home’s pressure is too high, it’s quietly causing damage behind the scenes.

Anything over 80 psi puts constant strain on pipes, fixtures, and appliances, leading to leaks, premature wear, and costly repairs. It’s one of those hidden issues that can go unnoticed… until it’s not.

On the flip side, low pressure means weak flow, slow-filling appliances, and showers that never quite feel right.

At Manwill Plumbing & Heating, we help homeowners dial things in. The ideal range is about 50–70 psi for most cities—strong for comfort, but safe for your system long-term.

So if your pressure’s off, a simple regulator adjustment can make all the difference.
It’s a small fix that protects your entire home—and if you’re not sure where yours stands, we’re here to help.

Most homeowners don’t think twice about the sinks and drains they rarely use—but those forgotten fixtures can quietly let unpleasant sewer gases seep into your home.

That’s because guest bathrooms, basement sinks, and floor drains all rely on a simple water barrier inside the pipe (called a P-trap) to block those odors. When they sit unused, that water can evaporate—and that’s when problems start.

The good news is that the fix is easy: every couple of weeks, run water down those drains for 30–60 seconds.

It’s a small habit that helps keep your home smelling fresh, your plumbing working as it should, and prevents a simple issue from turning into a frustrating one later on.

When it comes to home comfort, most people focus on the AC unit, furnace, or thermostat.

But one of the most overlooked parts of your HVAC system is something you rarely think about: your return air. It’s the part that pulls air back into your system to be heated or cooled again—the “breathing in” side of your home.

If this part is too small, restricted, or poorly designed, it doesn’t matter how good your equipment is—your system can’t move air properly. It’s like trying to breathe through a straw.

The result is weak airflow, uneven temperatures, higher energy bills, and added strain on your system.

At Manwill Plumbing & Heating, we take return air sizing seriously because we know it’s often the difference between a system that just runs—and one that runs efficiently, evenly, and reliably for years.

So if some rooms never feel quite right, this could be why—and a simple inspection can help.
