Meet Crissy, a devoted educator and longtime member of her community whose heart for others has never wavered.

After the loss of her husband, Crissy faced both emotional and financial challenges, all while continuing to show up for the people around her. A teacher for over 20 years, she returned to her school district as a substitute because of her love for working with children. Over the years, she’s also given back through countless community efforts, from youth coaching and Girl Scouts to holiday events and local drives.

At home, her aging heating system had become unreliable and unsafe, frequently shutting off and requiring constant resets, especially during cold and windy weather.

Through ARS Cares, the Will Fix It team was honored to provide Crissy with a safe, reliable system, bringing comfort and peace of mind to her home.

Today we honor Crissy, a longtime teacher, community volunteer, and loving sister who has faced tremendous loss and continues giving back.

After losing her husband and returning to work as a substitute teacher, she has struggled with a failing furnace that frequently shuts off, creating safety concerns and stress.

Through ARS Cares, our team was grateful to give her the comfort and peace she deserves. 💙
