We had a fantastic time presenting at the KAST Conference in Louisville last week and connecting with so many educators from across Kentucky. A special shoutout to Megan Marcum for presenting with us and sharing the incredible impact we’re seeing in Bowling Green Independent Schools.

Thank you to all the grade-level teachers, school leaders, and education partners who came out to meet with us and learn how EnlightenAI is helping teachers deliver meaningful feedback on student writing.

So far, EnlightenAI has helped more than 250 Kentucky teachers give feedback on over 13,000 pieces of student writing. Seeing educators use these tools to support student growth is exactly why we do this work.

We have to share this one because it just made our whole week! 🥳

Katie Bebber Lewis, a veteran teacher at Clovis Unified School District, said something in this video that every educator will immediately recognize: it is really hard to stay consistent when you are grading 100+ pieces of student writing. Quality tends to drift. Feedback gets shorter. Students at the end of the pile get less than they deserve.

That is the exact problem EnlightenAI is here to solve, and hearing Katie describe how it has changed her workflow genuinely gives us chills. 🙌❤️

A common concern about AI in education is that teachers will be taken out of the loop. 😬

Mark Cembalisty’s experience shows the opposite.

He still reads all of his students’ work. The difference is that he uses EnlightenAI to generate feedback first. Then he reviews it to confirm it’s right. He finds that 98% of the time, it is.
