Our team recently attended the Toolkit Tuneup training event at Austin Community College District, Riverside Campus, where we had the opportunity to work directly with educators and showcase one of our upcoming product integrations.

With the help of our Head of Product Development, Donovan Gruggett, and marketing specialist, Brandon Watt, we introduced a new control-bridge integration package for the Electric Systems Lab and Relay Lab. This setup allows students to build the Relay Lab as the low-voltage control system for the Electric Systems Lab, creating a practical bridge between foundational wiring skills and training in more complex electrical systems.

Throughout the event, we also had valuable conversations with instructors about the real challenges they face in the classroom, from assessing student skills to helping learners connect schematics, wiring, relays, terminations, and troubleshooting to system behavior in a hands-on way.

Thank you to Toolkit for inviting us to be part of the event, and thank you to Austin Community College for hosting. We are grateful for every opportunity to learn from educators and continue developing tools that support hands-on CTE and STEM learning.

Educators from Laurel Oaks Career Campus are getting hands-on with the Switch Lab EV Workshop as they prepare to launch a brand-new electric vehicle education program. Through train-the-trainer instruction, they’re building confidence in EV concepts, classroom management, and the skills needed to bring high-impact learning back to their students.

We’re excited to support their journey and can’t wait to see their students build the Switch Lab EV!
