💧 If you’re seeing this around your A/C vents, cleaning the ceiling alone isn’t going to fix the problem.

We were called out to investigate heavy staining and microbial growth developing around multiple supply registers. Once we got into the attic and started digging deeper, we found the real issue — moisture and condensation developing around the supply boots and duct connections.

In South Louisiana, hot humid attic air meeting cold HVAC components can create some serious moisture problems when duct connections, boots and penetrations aren’t properly sealed and insulated.

Our team went through the system and:

✅ Removed and cleaned the supply grilles
✅ Cleaned and sealed the supply boots
✅ Sealed the duct connections
✅ Addressed air leakage around the ceiling penetrations
✅ Properly sealed and insulated the affected areas
✅ Cleaned and treated the evaporator coil
✅ Cleaned and serviced the drain system

We didn’t just clean what you could see. We addressed what was causing it.

We’re taking a minute away from the normal HVAC issues, repairs, installations, and service calls to talk about another kind of service — service to our country.

Our owner recently read the letter from the leadership of the 82nd Airborne Division concerning the road ahead for its Paratroopers and their families. As a veteran himself, he wanted to share a few words personally:

“To the Paratroopers of the 82nd and the families standing behind them: stay strong.

There are going to be hard days. There will be days when the distance feels a whole lot farther than it really is, and days when home feels like it’s a lifetime away.

Lean on each other. Take care of the person to your left and your right. Call home when you can. Tell your family you love them every chance you get.

And to the families back home — keep pushing. Your strength gives your Paratrooper strength. What you’re doing at home matters every bit as much as you think it does.

Missions end. Deployments end. Eventually that aircraft touches down, those doors open, and families are together again.

Keep your heads up. Keep the faith. Do your job. Take care of each other. And most importantly, come home.

God bless every one of you and your families. From one Soldier to another, and from one All American to another —

Sometimes one repair turns into finding the problem behind the problem.

During a recent compressor changeout, we discovered the system also had a leaking condenser coil. Instead of stopping at the compressor and leaving another failure waiting to happen, we identified the issue, got the replacement coil, and came back to finish the job the right way.

Saturday morning: new condenser coil installed, system evacuated, charged, tested and everything is back up and running and cooling. ❄️

Commercial HVAC doesn’t always care what day of the week it is — and neither do we when our customers need to get their equipment running.
