August Is and we’re proud to feature participants in our BOLD program, a technical and leadership program for engineers!

Meet Naomi B., systems security engineer II, who joined the program to deepen her technical expertise and continue growing in her engineering career.

“BOLD allowed me to gain insights about different technologies and how they’re integrated across SNC,” she said. “I was able to do several rotations through different programs, which broadened my skill set and knowledge of the company. Thanks to BOLD and my mentor, I have confidence in what my future career as an engineer looks like.”

Naomi believes that the most rewarding thing about working at SNC is that she’s constantly learning something new, and she loves working with a team that is highly motivated, technically skilled and committed to helping each other succeed!

Brian B., electrical engineer I, was looking for a civilian career after transitioning out of the Marines and graduating from Colorado School of Mines.

He found his way to as an intern and eventually as a full-time team member!

"I was looking for a role that would allow the same sense of purpose from serving in the military to continue and as my internship progressed, I saw how the work, mission and people aligned with what I personally valued," he said. "My work contributed to technologies that support our warfighters and critical missions, which connects back to my time as a Recon Marine. The knowledge that my engineering efforts help to protect and support others is incredibly meaningful to me."

When not at work, Brian can be found with his two boys and is grateful for the flexibility of his work, which has allowed him to be present for his family while growing as an engineer.

We're proud to have Brian as part of our team and are grateful for the perspective our veterans bring to our workforce.
