Some product lines begin with an opportunity; this one began with a problem worth solving!
When DEFCOβ’ pumps were no longer being produced and replacement parts became increasingly difficult to find, Don and our Athens team recognized how many customers still depended on them. What followed took vision, persistence and a great deal of work: Precision Tank acquired the DEFCOβ’ trademark and brought the pumpsβand the parts needed to support themβback into production.
Today, our Athens facility manufactures four DEFCOβ’ Replacement Pump models:
β’ 7600 3-inch pump β PTO or hydraulic drive
β’ 8200 4-inch pump β PTO or hydraulic drive
DEFCOβ’ Replacement pumps have long served liquid tenders and applicators, fertilizer mixing plants, airport deicing equipment and fire tankers. They remain a dependable replacement option, but theyβre equally suited for new generation builds!
Our Athens facility also provides pump repair and carries pumps and parts from Ace, Banjo, Dura, Hypro, John Blue, MP and Scot.
